The PERTEX QUANTUM ripstop nylon shell has a unique shiny texture and is insulated with recycled down, cleaned using Japanese advanced technology, that optimizes its lightweight and provides high heat retention. The PRETEX QUANTUM shell is durably windproof and water-resistant. Precisely constructed from incredibly fine yarns, less than 20 denier, this fabric is extremely lightweight and durable. The shell has excellent tear strength and seam strength while the face fabric is made from high density fine count thread, which prevents down feathers from coming out. The down baffle structure maintains down in center, effectively keeping body core warm. The down tube equipped around the neck enhances warmth while the design panel on the front represents the “spur” line from ski tracks, brand identity of Goldwin brand.
