Made by hand in Maine-et-Loire, part of the Loire Valley region in France - Kleman footwear draws from decades of workwear production, built with a focus on durability and straightforward design. The Escale Drift strips things back with a classic penny strap and a streamlined moccasin toe. Cut from smooth leather with a contrast raffia* vamp and set on a sturdy G1327 rubber outsole, it leans more refined while still carrying the weight of Kleman’s utilitarian DNA.

* Raffia comes from the segments of the leaves on the Raphia Farinifera palm (commonly known as Raffia Palm). Raffia fibres are incredibly tough and resistant to tearing, which makes them ideal for creating sturdy baskets, shoes, bags and other items that need to hold their shape over time. Importantly, raffia is a highly sustainable and eco-friendly material.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns or Exchanges may be done within 14 days from purchase date. We kindly ask that all valid returns must be in unworn condition with attached tags and packaging. Muddy George will not accept any returned merchandise without prior written communication. Returns must be authorized via email before shipping – we will provide a return authorization form to be included with the package. Upon inspection and approval, exchange or store credit will be provided (minus our initial shipping charge), no refunds. Store credit does not expire. All sale items, discounted, promotional and/or apothecary merchandise, including any discount/promo codes used are final sale and are ineligible to be returned or exchanged.
