Still cut and sewn in France using the same traditional methods and materials, this lightweight Cotton seersucker jacket is the perfect piece to welcome the warmer weather. Since it’s unlined, it allows for garments to be worn underneath. It hides an interior breast pocket and the straight hem and regular fit ensure you won’t feel constricted if/when you happen to wear a thick button-down with it.

Seersucker originates from the Hindustani words shîr and shakar, literally meaning milk and sugar, from the resemblance of its smooth and rough stripes to the smooth texture of milk and the bumpy texture of sugar, respectively. During the British  colonial period, seersucker was a popular material in Britain's warm weather colonies like in British India.
