Muddy George is looking for the right individual to fill the key role of Part-Time Retail Sales Associate. As part of a team, your primary focus is to create a warm and friendly shopping environment by providing extreme customer service that fosters client realization, retention, and loyalty.
The Retail Sales Associate’s role is to acknowledge each customer and build a long-term customer relationships. They should consistently uphold our brand ethos and deliver service excellence for the purpose of exceeding customer expectations.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through helpful service and communication
- Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product / trends, promotions and campaigns
- Perform POS (point of sales) transactions and merchandising tasks, such as stock replenishment, fitting room upkeep and cleaning
- Ability to learn and share expertise of products and trends to fit customer’s needs
- Processing and assembling orders for our online store
The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
- Retail experience is an asset, but not necessary
- Superior customer service skills
- Genuine love of fashion
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- Able to problem solve quickly and in a polite manner
- Must possess integrity and follow through on customer commitments
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, as well as ensure a high quality of work completed within an acceptable timeframe
- High attention to detail
- Self motivated and goal oriented
- Flexible availability (2 late afternoon shifts per week) – may includes weekend shifts as well
