Iowa-born designer Todd Snyder has a resume to rival all others, thanks to his past work spearheading the menswear department at J. Crew and his time designing outerwear for Ralph Lauren. However, since 2011, Snyder has taken his approach to menswear grounded in the traditions of Savile Row craftsmanship, big city style and military tailoring to create a brand of his own making.
While enjoying the creative control only his own brand can bring, Snyder has scratched his collaborative itch by teaming with iconic New York-based sportswear brand Champion to create a menswear line that truly showcases the best both parties have to offer.
Combining classic Americana with heritage sportswear, while taking inspiration from vintage photos from the New York Athletics club, the collection takes classic pieces from Champion’s archive and reworks them with added detailing. Made with function and versatility in mind, Todd Snyder X Champion sweats and basics are ideal for wearing to the gym or on the streets.
We've stuck to the basics for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection, which by the way, is made in Toronto! Shop the collection here.
