The Insect Shield Jacket is packed with functionality to both satisfy the needs of the great outdoors and/or city life. The lightweight polyester mesh jacket has been designed to protect against bites from mosquitos and small insects on summer time hikes and adventures. It's been treated with a special insect repellent * (no smell) to ward off the critters too. It's lightweight and breathable mesh fabric make it a perfect lightweight jacket in an around town. It features elasticated cuffs and hem with draw cord, two pockets to the front and rear for storage (the back on can pack the jacket into itself for storage). Side zips allow access to any pockets on garments worn underneath. If you do find yourself in a swarm of midges you'll be glad of the full face protections offered by the zip-able hood which forms a nice high neckline when not in use. The beautiful abstract Camo print has been developed in conjunction with Japanese textile garment print specialists Nowarrt and in itself a piece of wearable art.
