JB0706 14oz Zimbabwe x Memphis Selvedge Denim - Tight Straight

These jeans are a made from a bi-blended fabric of Zimbabwean Cotton and Memphis (Tennessee), USA farmed cotton to create this unique fabric. Zimbabwean cotton, which is renowned for its fine luster and creating a soft finished denim fabric, is used for the Warp of this fabric while the stiff and rugged cotton of Memphis is used for the Weft. The result is a fabric that is soft while still retaining good tension to minimize stretching over time. Woven on a vintage shuttle loom and rope dyed in pure indigo, these jeans are bound to show intense contrast with age due to the blend of cotton used.

  • The silhouette of these jeans is tight above the thighs and the overall narrowness of the cut is Japan Blue's second narrowest cut

Important Note: Every denim product will lose colour. This is due to the special indigo dying process. After several washes, the losing of colour will be less and will stop over time. Some helpful advise:

    • When washing, close the zipper and fasten all buttons and always turn the jeans inside out. Wash separately. When drying, hang the jeans (preferabbly in shade) inside out and let the jeans dry naturally.
    • Pay attention when you sit on light surfaces
    • Be careful with wearing light clothes (i.e. underwear). Body warmth may cause denim to fade out
