New Balance’s 550 originally made its mark on pro basketball courts in 1989. It was not seen again for 21 years. After being reintroduced to New Balance’s full-time lineup, the 550 quickly established itself as a global fashion fixture. A low top, streamlined silhouette offers a clean take on the heavy-duty designs of the late ‘80s, while the dependable leather and suede upper construction is a classic look in any era. The basketball oxford dressed in a crisp white outfit accentuated by teal highlights. As is typical of the model, much of the leather construction is clad in white, with complementing greys applied to the suede toe.
